Life is a mystery. Sometimes it’s as tough as pushups after months of slothfulness; as harsh as hail in May; as tragic as your deepest fears realized. Other times, life is as rewarding as pulling up ugly carpet and finding immaculate hardwood; as hopeful as discovering your favourite snack is low in calories; as magical as rainbows after a storm. For me, life works best when I find joy in little things, appreciate the lessons in sad ones, and revel in those rare perfect moments. I don’t pretend to understand it all, but I do try to drink it in thirstily.
