I can’t fix everything

I worry about . . . everything. I’ve always been a worrier, and sometimes it seems like there’s more than ever to worry about: climate change, fracking, war, the Great Pacific garbage patch, polar vortexes, income inequality, the sixth mass extinction . . . the list could go on and on. However, with age and experience I’ve learned that as hard as I try, I can’t fix everything; as the saying goes, “Worrying doesn’t take away tomorrow’s trouble, it takes away today’s peace.” I try to change what I can in the world and have faith that the universe will take care of the rest.
