are you ready to rock?

As a single mom, it was a no brainer deciding to raise my three kids in Barrie. They always wished for me to be a “normal mom” but I live my life challenging the stereotypical definition of being normal and love to push back against authority.

If I came with a warning label it would say: Be prepared to be challenged! I’ve always gravitated toward anything different and artistic, and spend most of my days on the wrong side of the tracks. I combined my love for rock music and background in dance into a unique business – Rock N Pole – that offers a variety of classes in pole dancing, burlesque and chair dancing as a viable fun form of fitness. I am a certified judge for the Canadian Pole Fitness Association and have recently been invited to join the Canada-wide competition committee. My business provided me with the perfect platform to give back to the community. I routinely contribute to the Barrie Food Bank, Canadian Cancer Society, Barrie and District Christmas Cheer and I’m an advocate for the Down Syndrome Society on behalf of my nephew.
