we live in the best country in the world

Our country requires a new dedication to itself from all of its citizens. We need to ask ourselves what kind of country we want to live in and then each of us proactively make decisions and take actions that get us there. We need to “pull on the same oar” and stop thinking so individually.

We used to call it “civic duty” and people used to take pride in it. Without this, our society will continue to fracture and if we don’t work together to stop it, the results will affect us all negatively.

We live in the best country in the world and when you ask yourself why that is, also ask yourself whether you are part of the reason or if you are leaving it to others to keep it that way. Volunteer. Help a neighbour. Donate to worthy charities. Be grateful.
