I have a lot to be grateful for. For starters, I was born in Canada. I love this country with all my heart and truly believe it is the greatest place to live in the world.
I have had a pretty good life and owe a lot of who I am today due to the experiences (good and bad) I have encountered. I am grateful for my family, and the life we have built together. My wife and I bought our first home in Barrie about 10 years ago. We chose to live in Barrie at the time based on proximity to work, but we have fallen in love with the city and our community and couldn’t think of a better place to raise a family.
My family enjoys being on (or in) Lake Simcoe, and as of right now we are all grateful that winter is behind us! I recently completed my college degree at Georgian, and my experience there was also incredible. Another testament to the opportunities available in Barrie.
It is hard to write down all the things a person could or should be grateful for, but my family and where I live seem to be the most important to me.
