Cut other people some slack. Try not to jump to conclusions. Give people the benefit of the doubt.
Most other human beings are, in general, good people. If they’re being obnoxious, perhaps they’re just having a bad day.
Maybe they stepped in poison ivy over the weekend. Maybe they spilled their Tim’s in their lap on the way to work. Maybe someone was yelling at them before they left the house.
Then again, maybe they are the type of person who gets joy out of making others miserable. If that’s the case, it’s good not to let them run all over you.
But at least you know that you gave them a chance.
